This summer, district leaders from across California came to Stanford to further their work as participants in the the Linked Learning District Initiative. The summer institute is hosted by SCOPE and ConnectEd and supported by the James Irvine Foundation.
The institute featured presentations by Dr. Michael Kirst, President of the California Board of Education, ConnectEd President Gary Hoachlander, Bobby Hughes, Senior Designer and Innovation Consultant at Kaiser, and, also from Kaiser, Senior Design Strategist Mike Lin. Participants spent a day at Stanford’s d.school developing strategies to support the application of performance assessment and student outcomes.
